The City of Muskegon's Fisherman's Landing features an improved launch, campground, and fishing area.

Grand Trunk features a small boat launch, parking, access to the Lakeshore Trail bike path, a wetland boardwalk, picnic shelter and interpretive signage. The Lake Express Muskegon to Milwaukee high speed ferry terminal is located nearby.

Harbour Towne Beach looks out to Muskegon Lake with a clear view of the channel out to Lake Michigan. It’s a public beach that is a favorite among locals and perfect for getting the bead on Walleye and Salmon fishing activity.

Hartshorn Marina is located in the downtown Muskegon area, with access to Muskegon Lake, Muskegon River and Lake Michigan. The Lakeshore Trail bike path is accessible from the launch parking lot area.

This quiet, scenic park is nestled in wooded dunes. It is a popular picnic and swimming area.

Pere Marquette is a popular Lake Michigan public beach, located on the south side of the Muskegon Navigational Channel near a historic lighthouse, coast guard station, NOAA Field Station, maritime walkway and the U.S.S. Silversides Submarine Museum.

Richards Park is located between the South Branch and the Middle Branch of the Muskegon River.

This small township park offers access to the relatively shallow waters of Bear Lake. Bear Lake is connected to Muskegon Lake by a recreational channel near a popular pub and eatery.

This 189-acre park features a Lake Michigan beach and picnic area

Mona Lake Park features a boat launch, a covered picnic shelter, parking, lighted fishing pier, beach and sporting facilities. Mona Lake is connected to Lake Michigan by a recreational channel. The park is located nearby the I-96 and US-31 Interchange.

The Muskegon Conservation Club provides access for members and guests. Emergency access is available and additional paddler-friendly amenities are currently being planned.

Pioneer Park features a swimming beach and a campground that is accessible from the beach from a wooden stairway.

The park features two campgrounds, a swimming beach and pavilion bath house, restrooms, hiking trails, scenic views of large sand dunes and the Lake Michigan shoreline, south of the Muskegon Lake Channel Lighthouse.

Snug Harbor features a boat launch, parking, picnic pavilion, grills, fishing, swimming on Muskegon Lake and hiking trails to Lake Michigan through wooded dunes.

Muskegon State Park features two campgrounds, a swimming beach and pavilion bath house, restrooms, hiking trails, scenic views of large sand dunes and the Lake Michigan shoreline, south of the Muskegon Lake Channel Lighthouse.

Neighborhood Playfield

Veterans Memorial Park, on Muskegon River at Muskegon Lake is a historically significant World War I memorial park and a tribute to all veterans. Significant effort is underway to restore historic features and passive public outdoor recreation amenities.

Pioneer Park is a 145-acre park with 213 campsites, picnic facilities, restrrom and a beach along the Lake Michigan shoreline

The Muskegon State Park Lake Michigan Campground is located directly across Scenic Drive from Winter Sports Complex, luge and hiking trails through wooded dunes. The historic Blockhouse is nearby, offering a panoramic view of the topography.

The Channel connects Muskegon Lake to Lake Michigan and to the Great Lakes. Large freighters, tugs, sailboats, fishing boats and the Lake Express high-speed, cross lake ferry to Milwaukee all use this scenic, commercial and recreational channel.

The Muskegon Maritime Heritage Walkway is a three-quarter mile walkway along the Muskegon Channel with signage that interprets the areas maritime history.
