This is a 14.5 mile paddle from Deerlick Creek Park near South Haven to the 121st Street Avenue Access. South Haven offers lodging, dining and shopping. This stretch offers views of steep bluffs without many areas for stopping and resting along the shoreline. The steep bluffs include the Wau-Ka-Na Clay Bluffs ("forest by the water") which is a large nature preserve with forests, wetlands, prairies, streams, ponds and the rare clay bluffs for which it is named.
