This is a 10.7 mile paddle from Hagar Roadside Park to Deerlick Creek Park near South Haven. This stretch offers 2 camping options - Covert Township Park and Van Buren State Park. You will experience magnificent views of towering sand dunes and miles of sandy beaches on this paddle. Lake Michigan has the largest collection of freshwater sand dunes in the world! You will need to paddle about 100 yards from the shoreline at the Palisades Nuclear Plant security zone marked with lighted buoys. Scroll down to the map for access locations.
