Paddler Park at East Basin is located along the St. Joseph River at 213 Upton Dr., St. Joseph. It is the closest water trail access to Lake Michigan (about 4,000' to the lighthouses) from the St. Joseph River, and is located on the north side of the river between the historic St. Joseph Railroad Swing Bridge and Blossomland Bridge. Bring your kayak, stand-up paddleboard or sailing dinghy. There is a soft bank area for access to the river. In the Benton Harbor and St. Joseph area, be careful as there are large boats and even freighters (a working harbor).

Length of access is less than 50 yards.
