Carry in and improved dirt boat ramp onto Pine Creek, a tributary of the Kalamazoo River, immediately above the dam which creates the impoundment. The impoundment is fed by a meandering stream which traverses a bayou like swampy wetland area.

The access site is located on 21st Street at the junction with Jefferson and River Roads.

Parking Lot parking is available.

Public restrooms are available (Pit Toilet).
