Ashmun Bay Park is on the west side of Sault Ste. Marie and features boat launch facilities on the upper section of St. Mary's River. Take the last exit off I-75 before the International Bridge to Canada and turn left to cross over the highway.  At the stop sign take a right, which will lead you past the transportation welcome center.  A little farther you will find the drive on the left across from the Customs Building.  A fishing pier has been developed on the canal side of the property and it is a trailhead for the multi-use pathway connecting to the old Soo Line rail trail.
