The community park has a shelter, picnic tables, grills, and a playground.  There is parking and a swimming beach.  Access to water is down a gentle slope, making for easy access. The access sign on the road is not readable from the river, but the large open parking area and pavilion are obvious to a paddler right after the river crosses under the Bridge Road bridge and the river enters Ellsworth Lake.
