If you're looking for a great view, visit Summit Park! Located on S. Lakeshore Drive past the Ludington Pumped Storage Plant and south of Meisenheimer Road, this park has picnic tables that overlook Lake Michigan, with grills available. It's a great place to spend a quiet afternoon and feel the breeze on your face.

Follow the sandy path down to the beach and enjoy swimming or sunning on a hot summer day. Because it's a little off the beaten path, you may find less crowds, affording you more privacy.

As with many other parks, there is playground equipment a shelter/pavilion, and restrooms. Summit Park also has a sports field for baseball or softball.
