Located along the Dowagiac River, near the Berrien/Cass County line, this 51 acre park has long been a destination spot for the water enthusiast.  There is an improved canoe/kayak launch, but it is a considerable distance from the parking lot.  The river downstream of this access point has several MAJOR log jams.  Advanced paddling skills are need to navigate and there may also be a signficant portage.  Always wear a life jacket!  The county has new cabins for rent at this park now.

Length of access is more than 50 yards.

There is a new kayak/canoe launch at the park.  It is significant distance from the parking lot, but there is a nice pathway with gentle slopes.
