The Village Boat Launch Ramp facility of 1.5 acres is the only public boat ramp in the Village, providing access to Pentwater Lake, Pentwater Rivers, and Lake Michigan.  It is a single boat ramp with adjoining finger pier, a restroom, and a parking area.  It also has a covered pavilion for lakeside viewing, deck and dock for Junior Sailors, and beach area for docking the Junior Sailor boats.  The launch area also provides a rack for kayaks and dinghies which can be rented. By 2015 a universal access kayak launch will be installed at this site as well as construction of a double launch and universally accessible fishing dock.

In “season” there is a launch charge – a daily or seasonal permit.  During the winter months, there is no charge at this access site.  The charge is $7 daily and $35 weekly.  The seasonal non-resident is $75.  Non-resident repeat customer $50.  Resident is $30 seasonally.  Commercial boats are $125 for the season. 
 
Seasonal kayak or dingy rack space rental is $35.
