The Bridgeton Township Park launch site includes great parking space, an excellent boat launch, ADA accessible kayak launch, clean bathrooms, and beautiful scenery. Expect a 3 hour Muskegon River paddle to the Maple Island launch (8 miles). River Rat Rentals are located one mile east of Maple Island Road.  It is a 7 hour trip from Maple Island to Muskegon Lake at the Lake Michigan shoreline.  There are several road end access sites located on the Muskegon River between Maple Island and Muskegon Lake.

River Rat offers rental of kayaks, canoes and tubes for a float down the beautiful Muskegon River. Enjoy breathtaking scenery and good fishing. Trips include Bridgeton to River Rat or River Rat to Holton Duck Lake Rd (both 2-3 hour trips), or Anderson Flats to River Rat, or River Rat to Mill Iron (both 4-5 hour trips).
