Heritage Landing is located on Muskegon Lake near downtown Muskegon. It features access to the Lakeshore Trail bike path, shore fishing, a scenic walking bridge, playground and restrooms. Downtown Muskegon restaurants, pubs, hotels, theaters, museums and attractions are all at your fingertips. During the summer, Heritage Landing provides the venue for the Unity Christian Music Festival, Michigan Irish Music Festival and other recreational and entertainment events. 

In 2014, the new Rotary Park at Heritage Landing will include a fully accessible playground, accessible kayak launch, and various other amenities for persons of all abilities.

Length of access is more than 50 yards.

In 2014, a full accessible kayak launch will be available.  Currently, launching a small watercraft onto Muskegon Lake is possible from a natural lagoon on the far east side of the park, although it is used primarily for shore fishing and not designated as an access site.  In 2014, the designated kayak access site will be located on the park's west side.
