Looking towards Spring Lake

Hiawatha Trail crosses the connector channel between Mud and Round Lakes. You must portage over the road. Not a good access point. Channel to Round lake does not appear to be navigable.

On Road Shoulder parking is available.

Alternate boat access.

Length of access is less than 50 yards.

Not a good access point. To get to Spring Lake there is a short steep carry down. The access to the water way connector to round lake does not appear to be navigable.

A nearby local outfitter provides just rentals including transport of boat.
