Lake Street is one of many road end access points in Ponshewaing. Good local access. Just down the road is Ryde Marine and the Canoe Hut with all your paddling needs and rentals. Ponshewaing is at the mouth of the Crooked River and a good starting point for the Crooked River section of the trail.

On Road Shoulder parking is available.

Carry-In boat access.

Length of access is less than 50 yards.

Short carry to a sandy bottom.

A nearby local outfitter provides just rentals including transport of boat.
